DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday\, June 18\, 2008\, the Pinellas Park/Gateway Chamber of Commerce will hold a Legislative Breakfast at the Radisson Hotel & Convention Center\, located at 12600 Roosevelt Boulevard.   On Wednesday\, June 18\, 2008\, the Pinellas Park/Gateway Chamber of Commerce will hold a Legislative Breakfast at the Radisson Hotel & Convention Center\, located at 12600 Roosevelt Boulevard. Hosted by the Chamber's Board of Directors and moderated by Chairman Housh Ghovaee\, six local legislators will take the opportunity to give their personal summary of the most recent Legislative Session\, and provide their thoughts on what the business sector might expect from the 2009 Legislative Session. A Question & Answer period will follow their individual comments. The Chair of the Government Committee\, H. William Isaly\, stresses the importance of this event to chamber members and to businesses in the Tampa Bay Area. "It is obvious that budgetary shortfalls at the state level have a significant trickle-down effect on local governments and the business community\," says Isaly. "Our elected representatives in Tallahassee hold a front-row seat in the formation of our future planning." There is no charge for this Legislative Breakfast\, which is open to the public.However\, RSVP's are mandatory to attend this event.
