This is where decisions are made \;to advance the short term and long term goals of the Chamber to benefit the membership in the marketing of their business.
The general objectives of this Chamber shall be to promote\, advertise\, develop\, and encourage tourism\, light and heavy manufacturing in their proper zones\, as well as mercantile and non-profit interests\; to collect and distribute useful information concerning the advantages of the city and geographic area\; to endeavor to remedy the defects and abuses therein so far as they injuriously effect our interests\; to encourage wise and needful legislation and oppose the enactment of laws which might injuriously effect business and commercial interests\; to promote integrity\, fair dealings\, good faith and fellowship\; adjust and/or attempt to arbitrate differences between businessmen\; to promote the highest standards of business morality in the community\; to foster the improvement of mid-county&rsquo\;s\, including the Pinellas Park / Gateway area\, thoroughfares and the approaches thereto\; to strive to improve our public facilities and generally to strive with united efforts to increase and enhance the prosperity of the Pinellas Park / Gateway mid-county area
