SUMMARY:20th Annual Jim Rosenkrans Memorial Toy Run
DESCRIPTION:December 2nd\, 2007-St. Petersburg\, Fl.  Jim?s Harley-Davidson of St. Petersburg will be hosting its 20th annual Toy Run celebration.  This charity Toy Run is to take place December 2nd from Jim?s Harley Davidson on a pre-determined route to the St. Petersburg Pier.  Participants will be leaving the dealership at 10 a.m.  Every participant must furnish a new packaged toy or a $10 donation.    \n\nThe ?Jim Rosenkrans Memorial Toy Run? started in 1979 where Jamie Rosenkrans\, owner\, was teaching at Rio Vista Elementary.  It was then that Jim and Jamie decided to create a vehicle for giving back to the community.  The event has grown much since then with last year?s roster consisting of 2\,500 people and 1\,800 bikes.  Not forgetting its humble beginnings\, the Toy Run is still a major event for the dealership where owner Jamie Rosenkrans insists that no child be without a toy on Christmas.  Although Jim is no longer here to share this momentous occasion\, his memory lives on in the Toy Run.\n\nOur 20th Annual Toy Run will be leaving the dealership and heading towards the St. Pete Pier.  The bikers will ride up the approach\, around the Pier\, and cruise back to the dealership down Beach Drive.  We encourage participants to sign up early at the dealership.
